Learn techniques in embroidery to create your own cushion to take home and display with pride of place! Modern embroidery is about transferring contemporary design into stitch. You will start the workshop by learning and practising stitches & techniques before designing your motives for your cushion.
Embroidery is an easy way to add designs to textiles and in itself is a great meditative craft that can fully absorb you. You will take home your sampler to remind you of the stitches you have learnt and your finished cushion (depending on your ambition) we will provide lots of inspiration and guide you to a design that will work.
Time: 3 hours
Included: All materials, including the cushion itself and refreshments, including homemade cake
