Creativity for Well-being - Saturday 23rd March

36.00

Sat 23rd March 10.00-1.00 pm ish..
Join us for our first seasonal event of 2019 and spend 3 hours in beautiful surroundings with like-minded people finding common-ground discussing creativity for well-being.
We strongly believe that in modern life finding creativity for yourself brings both well-being and mindfulness into being. Craft slows the pace of the world and can bring enjoyment and a sense of fulfilment to the day.
This event takes place in a beautiful Victorian House in light-filled rooms with large windows looking out onto the surrounding public gardens, a perfect setting for a morning or afternoon of ‘me- time’ and a space where we can gather and reflect on our discoveries and thoughts .

Booking your place includes:
3 hours in our venue to relax, explore some crafts and socialise
Seasonal refreshments: Loose leaf teas (learn about blends) and flavoured waters, plus homemade bakes to feast on during your time with us.
Mini Workshops: work your way around the room at leisure joining in with a variety of craft workshops
1. Bringing plants into your home in a sustainable way: Moss ball succulents with Stephanie Eastwood, florist.
2. Journaling or a daily practice of drawing to observe the everyday, can bring mindfulness and gratitude into your day. So we are creating simple homemade journals and decorating them with Victoria Saunders, creative workshop leader.
3. Crafting with your hands and materials that are accessible makes crafting everyday fun and easy: make a key-ring or wall hanging using knotting, weaving & tassel making. All materials are provided. with Liv Handley, fibre artist.

There is also opportunity to discuss creativity and well-being with:
Tina Huckle - reiki practitioner
Helen Evans - Well being coach
Chris Briggs - Masseur
