Saturday 6th April
A perfect workshop for those new to Lino printing or refreshing their skills. This workshop will guide you through the designing process giving you lots of ideas and inspiration for creating simple but effective designs in several different ways. You will experiment with the kit provided and practice cutting the lino (we are using a soft-carve lino for beginners) before cutting your own design in the lino provided. In the later stages of the workshop you will learn the process of printing and how to use stencils. Printing your own set of cards & making a piece of artwork to take home.
Lino-printing is a great kitchen table craft that you can re-visit many times to print your own artwork. This technique also works well with mono-printing & collage if you are thinking of adding to your repertoire.
